Access Plug Flange (APF) Inspection Ports 4

An inspection port plug is installed on the outside of the insulation jacket of any insulated pipe, vessel, tank, or process equipment, the inspector can safely & easily get access under the insulation WITHOUT the need to remove the jacketing and insulation. This easy access allows an inspector to use a UT meter to perform a thickness measurement and also allows for visual inspection for monitoring for corrosion under insulation (CUI).
